Section 61
Types of Insurance Businesses
(1) The type of insurance business will be as follows:-
(a) Life Insurance Business,
(b) non-life insurance business, and
(c) Reinsurance business.
(2) Doing life insurance business, the insurer may do life insurance business of the specified type _ (portfolio) under the license.
(3) An insurer engaged in non-life insurance business may engage in non-life insurance business of the specified type (portfolio) under the license.
(4) Reinsurance. The type of business carried out by the insurer shall be as determined by the Authority.
